LAGE Custom Homes is a family-owned, faith-centered custom home builder serving Georgia and South Carolina. Founded by Hamp and Jessi Rowland, the company was created with a simple mission: to build high-quality homes with honesty, transparency, and a deep respect for the people they serve.
Meet the Founders: Hamp & Jessi Rowland
Hamp and Jessi Rowland are the heart and hands behind LAGE Custom Homes. Together, they bring a rare combination of experience, integrity, and personal attention to every home they build. Hamp is no stranger to hard work. He can be found on-site, working directly with the construction crew, swinging hammers and ensuring that every detail meets their high standards. With years of experience in the spec home industry,
Hamp saw firsthand how speed and volume often took priority over craftsmanship and client care. That experience became the catalyst for launching LAGE Custom Homes. Jessi’s background is in sales, and she brings a natural gift for connecting with people. She manages client communication, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operations with a warm, personal touch. Jessi also walks clients through the design phase of construction, assisting with owner selections and helping them bring their vision to life. Her love for people—and her talent for keeping things on track—help create a smooth, enjoyable experience for every homeowner they work with.
Together, Hamp and Jessi are deeply involved in every stage of the process, working hard to build not just beautiful homes, but lasting Relationships.
When they’re not on the job site or meeting with clients, Hamp and Jessi love spending time outdoors. Hamp, an avid outdoorsman, enjoys hunting, fishing, and working the land. Jessi shares his passion for wildlife and the natural world, and together they’ve turned that shared love into a way to give back. The Rowlands founded a nonprofit based in Thomson, GA, dedicated to supporting their local community through education and conservation efforts focused on native wildlife and their habitats.
A Calling, Not Just a Career
LAGE Custom Homes was born out of prayer and a desire to do things differently. Hamp and Jessi felt called to create a company where faith, family values, and quality workmanship come first. They attend Journey Community Church in Evans, GA, and pray daily for the clients they serve.
Their commitment to treating people the right way—combined with their passion for homebuilding—sets LAGE apart in the industry. Hamp and Jessi know that a builder is only as great as their team.
That’s why they’ve assembled a reliable group of project managers and subcontractors who align with their high standards. Rather than going with the cheapest bid, LAGE partners with trusted vendors who prioritize quality and craftsmanship, so every home they build stands the test of time.
A Family That Builds for Families
Hamp and Jessi are raising two children in the CSRA. Their son enjoys competitive shooting and racing dirtbikes, and their daughter is an avid soccer and volleyball player. Just as they invest in their family, they are committed to investing in the families who trust them to build their homes.
They understand the significance of a home—it is where memories are made, children grow, and life happens. That is why they approach every build with care, precision, and a deep sense of responsibility.
